PLAY THERAPY SUPERVISION SCHOLARSHIP

The embrACE jax play therapy supervision scholarship provides 35 hours of free clinical supervision by a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (RPTS). This award assists clinicians in meeting the Association for Play Therapy (APT) Supervision requirement for obtaining the Registered Play Therapist (RPT) credential.

Meet the supervisors

Our clinical supervisors are here to assist you on your journey to become a Registered Play Therapist!

  • Tayler received her undergraduate degree in Social Work from the Florida State University in 2014 and continued to complete her Master’s in Social Work in 2015. After completing her graduate degree Tayler went on to become a Registered Play Therapist. She is the clinical director at The Healing Playroom in Jacksonville, Fl and an adjunct professor at Jacksonville University where she teaches Culturally Responsive Play Therapy.

  • Erica completed her undergraduate education at the University of North Florida where she majored in Psychology with a minor in Gender Studies. She went on to complete her master’s degree in Clinical Social Work at Florida State University. Erica also received a Graduate Certificate in Play Therapy from Stetson University. Erica is a play therapist at The Healing Playroom in Jacksonville, FL, and an adjunct professor at Jacksonville University where she teaches Special Topics in Play Therapy.

eligibility requirements:

  • Provide play therapy services at a community mental health setting, public school, or non profit organization.

  • Uphold the conditions outlined in the supervision agreement.

  • Continue to obtain play therapy education hours, clinical hours, and supervision hours according to APT phase requirements.
