To address systemic inequities related to accessing high-quality mental health care, and disrupt the long-term individual, generational, and community consequences of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) by providing sustainable access to mental health professionals trained in Play Therapy.
our mission
There is a deficit of trained play therapists in the Northeast Florida area, and the children in our community with the highest ACE scores face systemic barriers to accessing high quality, developmentally appropriate mental health services.

Play TherapY Internships
Play Therapy graduate student internships providing community based, on-site services for children experiencing high levels of adversity.
Reduced-ratE Therapy
Play Therapy services at reduced rates for underinsured children and families.
Funding will directly benefit
Mental Health Students/Professionals
by offering training, clinical hours, and supervision toward the Registered Play Therapist credential.
Children & Families
through increased access to high quality therapeutic services for underserved communities impacted by systemic inequalities related to obtaining high quality mental health care.
The Northeast Florida Community
by providing early intervention for children facing high levels of adversity, decreasing the risk of negative community outcomes associated with high ACE scores.
Association for Play Therapy
by developing an intentional model of professional development for aspiring Registered Play Therapists, especially those from underrepresented communities who may not be able to afford specialized play therapy training.
